Exquisite craftsmanship made of finest woods

Galerie Himmelsweg in Tostedt, near Hamburg, is an owner-operated home furnishings store that has been based at the same location since 1995 and features its own furniture collection, manufactured in-house.

Our woods:

We exclusively use recycled timber from former British colonial buildings in South India. This is primarily Vengai wood, which resembles wild cherry trees. However, other wood types are available upon request, such as the walnut-colored Coromandel wood, the reddish Jackfruit wood, and the rare Burmese teak.

All these pieces of wood are typically between 150 and 200 years old.

The only exception is colored furniture. We manufacture this optionally from local wood species such as oak, beech, or Nordic pine.

Upholstered furniture

To complement our range of home furnishings, our assortment includes high-quality upholstered furniture from renowned manufacturers such as SINN Living and HAROS. Furthermore, we are the exclusive distributor of sheepskin leather furniture in German-speaking countries (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).

Delivery and delivery times

We deliver worldwide. Please contact us if you have any questions about delivery conditions to your destination.

We ship small furniture items in specially made boxes via DHL. We deliver anything larger personally to your chosen address using our own company vehicle.

Delivery within Germany and Denmark is free of charge. Special offers are excluded; for these, we charge a small delivery fee.

Small furniture items from the SAVITRI range are usually available for immediate delivery, and with few exceptions, we also have at least one of the larger items in stock.

For custom-made products or in case of non-availability, the current delivery time is between 3 and a maximum of 7 months, depending on when the order is placed.

For upholstered furniture, we have a standard delivery and production time of 10 to 14 weeks.
